Great news for investors today! Apra has written to the banks, allowing them to use a new (much lower rate) as the assessment rate. Down to about 6.25%.

With the current assessment rate at 7.25% (some banks even 7.40%) this will be a massive change! More people will be able to able to afford to invest.
